Has anyone done the engine exchange? and if so, how long does it take.

It all depends:\

If is the exact mesurments as the stock its 20mins to an hour. Some people are quicker than that. You take out the four engine mount screws. Disasemble all linkages, then unasemble your cb, clutch, flywheel, and put it on the new engine. Not hard at all.:hehe:

What a smart ass :D

LOL Uhmm the one where you give HPI your old 21bb, and they give you a S25 isn't that how it works?

wasn't trying to be a smrt ass. Thought you were talkin about swaping two engines on your truck, not with the company.

:sorry:

I would look for a new mill on e-bay,you can pick up a new one for the same cash as the trade, plus you get to keep your old mill to tinker with later.

I wasn't upset lol.. I thought it was funny.

good idea I think ill go with the stock storm engine or a 24.7 pro

Forget the s25 and get the 24.7pro or mach 26 which are essentially the same engine.

I recently did the exchange with HPI . I sent in the .21 with my 99.00 + 15.00 for the 3 shoe clutch since they made it sound like id have it in a few weeks. It turns out both the engine and the clutch were on backorder. I sent the motor back in october and got my new .25 in mid December. and I just got my 3 shoe clutch last month. Needless to say I was pissed about missing some of the best snow bashing of the winter. but It turned out to be well worth the wait afterall. Just call them first and make sure they have parts in stock so you arent waiting forever with no engine

i whould have to say lykan get the hyper 7 8 port for 130$ and keep your old mill. to tinker with..thats just me.i like to keep all my mills around..

how does the hyper compare to the 24.7? or is this something hat can't be answered quickly, and I should search on?
