When my revo flips on its roof which it does often.... it will sometimes cut out... what would cause this? seems to run extremely well, good temps and doesn't seem to be any air leaks in the fuel lines. only thing iv noticed today was when it flipped and i put it back on its wheels there was fuel in the exhaust line, but i fugure it was a full tank and it just ran back into the line....

ps is there a one way valve or something you can put on the line to stop fuel going back and which would keep pressure in the tank?

I would guess when it flips, the fuel is no longer flowing due to gravity.

How long is your fuel line? You could increase the length of your fuel line so there is more fuel in the lines giving you time to flip it over without the engine cutting out.

yeh there is about 30cm of fuel line, and sometimes it cuts out almost instantly so giving it gas doesn't always work.... but sometimes it will sit on its roof for like 30sec and not stall. just got me stumped

When it flips over the fuel pickup is no longer submerged in fuel. The fuel line then picks up an air bubble. Depending on the size of the bubble it may cut out for a second after you flip it back over, or stall completely. A tiny air bubble can squirt through almost un-noticed.

yeh i know about the air bubbles but there isnt enough time for one to pass down the fuel line... can a jolt or the fuel no longer being there be related to exhaust pressure?

I don't know, I guess you should check your exhaust system, tank and lines. Will it idle for at least 30 seconds when it's upright?

yeh it will idle well, sometimes it seems like it doesn't have the fuel pressure and just karks it. I'm thinking that may be related but in saying that it will idle for 10-30sec sometimes without fail... the header seems to be on tight and no smoke comes from anywhere but the end of the pipe... :S

factory pipe and spring mount header which is on tight. only chance of an exhaust leak is in the header side of the exhaust rubber. but even then its sfa....

i have another question off topic... if i drop my revo (with the ride hight set to the highest of the 3 points and preload is 1/2-3/4) from about 1-2 foot it bottoms out.... does this mean i need to rebuild my shocks? I'm in the process of ordering 2 shock rebuild kits and Associated 5438 Silicone Shock Oil 47.5 wt/Weight shock oil. will that help? or would the stiffer springs to the job? as i have the factory in there atm, but i also have the stiffer ones that come with it and the purple springs.
