lean is in on the hsn clockwise? and richen is out counter clockwise?

and it quits after wot throttle and then steam is commin off the head how do i fix this ???

h/o I'm upping a vid to utube now ill post i then you can tell me whats rong

wot=wide open throttle. Get a temp gun yet? You can use the spit technique, too. Should take between 2-4 seconds for your spit to evaporate. Someone else could probably elaborate on that. What I would do is just start slowly richening it up. Remember to run it for a couple of minutes before making further adjustments. Get a temp gun. Get a temp gun. Get a temp gun. A.S.A.P. It'll make life easier. Or you can start at factory settings and lean it out from there.

Ya I just use the spit test but as for the bogging I had to adjust the lsn in clockwise to lean it because you would hold it wot and it jsut bogs, then about 1/2 way through the acceleration process it just rockets. If thats the case lean the lsn remember every engine is different. Hoped that helped.

YUPP ill try it and heres a vid of what it does most of the time and now I'm out of fuel does it matter if i switch brand I'm using traxxas 20% fuel and i wanna change to Trinity Monster Horse power is this ok ????

Well, you will have to go to factory settings again, and lean from there. ITs not good to switch, but if its easier to get or something like that, its ok, just don't jump around too much. I THINK traxxas t-maxx has it backwords, if it bogs at full throttle, it way lean and you need to richen it. I THINK, but its been a while.

Turn the HS in until closed.Back it out 4 turns.Turn the low speed in until closed.Back it out 13/4 turns.Set the idle gap with the idle screw to be open about the thickness of a credit card.Warm up engine for 4-5 minutes. Now start tuning .Clockwise on the HS 1 hour(not one turn ,little less than 1/8 turn).Run a few high speed passes, continue to tune until you see no performance improvement or the engine cuts out at WOT.Then back off 1/4 turn.Run a few high speed passes.Pinch the fuel line about an 2" from the carb.If it dies right away its rich.If it revs up right away its lean. You should be able to count 1 onethousand,2 onethousand,up 3 or 4 before it starts to rev up and then shut off.Now you have it tuned close to max safe performance. Rinse and repeat LOL just kidding.Get a temp gun,it should run between 190 - 260 to be safe.Always want to see smoke from exaust when on throttle, never a steaming head.
