When I first got my savage I took it out for some serious off roading to see what would break first. I flipped it a few times and had some hard tail landing's ect. Anyway I got a few scratches on the head witch was no big deal. But I noticed that a few of the fines in the middle were broken. After a brief investigation I discovered that it was caused from the body wedging itself into the fins. What I did to correct the problem is if you look close at the opening for the motor you will notice a trace line that is much larger then the original opening. I cut along the line and smoothed it out with sand paper and never had the problem again. Clint.

Yea, this is common thing people do, I run the ANCNC head which is by far the largest, (required some major cutting)
