As much as I hate to do it, I'm thinking about selling my 3908 EMaxx with the Mamba Monster system installed. The truck has installed:
Mamba Monster Motor and ESC
Castle motor cooling fan
New MIP Splined CVDs front and rear
Rear RPM True Track
RPM front arms
RPM Shock towers
RPM Bulkhead braces
RPM front and rear bumpers
RPM spring retainers (1 missing but has factory)
RPM Skid Protectors
Aluminum shocks with Tin shafts
new front and rear bulkheads
new front and rear factory skids
New Silverado body (painted) but never ran or even drilled
I bought this truck as a roller and have gone through just about all of it, replacing what needs replaced including bearings etc. The known issues that i havent gotten around to fixing are: it doesn't steer very well but theres a lot of play in the steering. I assume all it needs is the steering assembly and the other is the wheels and tires. You can run it but they are wobbly.
This is the truck i was building with the TWIN Mamba Monsters, one of the ESCs fried and i think thats when i lost interest in it.
I'm thinking 600.00 shipped is fair, other than battery and charger it is RTR just needs a little more work. This is the 3908 model which was built from the factory to handle brushless power, I upgraded it even more.
I have the other motor which is fine, I've been too lazy to send the other ESC back. If interested i could sell it with the other motor (for more money) but ill have to send the esc in to see if they will replace it. I will post pics tonight. You can see it with twins on it in my thread "not for the faint of heart" in the electric section.
