I heard about those electronic throttle returns a few days ago and I am looking to get one. I saw one that plugs into a receiver port and the servos plug into that, but I saw another one that didn't say anything like that which led me to believe it plugs into the batter before going to the receiver.

More info on this would be appreciated. And ideas as to which one I should get. My truck got away from me a few days ago for like the 3rd time, luckily it only bent a tie rod but the thing did like a 720 off of the ground and into a wall after hitting a wall in the first place. I've never really broke anything after having it get away and I've been worried about it ever since I watched my friends do the same except it hit a ground transformer and blew to pieces.

Later.

i believe you are talking about a "Fail Safe". it's a small component that plugs in between the throttle/brake servo and the Rx. when ever you get a loss of signal or low battery level the fail safe kicks in and applies the brakes according to the intensity you set it at. Venom and OFNA are a couple of brands that make them.

yea fail safes are a must, i feel so much more confident when i drive when that thing is plugged in. :) Check Venoms site...
