I have dropped lipos, i have impaled a lipo on a curb, and it hasn't caught on fire. Runtime with my lipo brushless is about 45 minutes, longer than any nitro will run without refilling. I dont know how high speed is a con, and connectors? What is that about?

speed b/c you can go out of your range. connecters b/c theres so many diffrent ones. is there a fail safe on these things or for?

The only connector you will want to use IMO is the Deans Ultra connectors. I like Electric better. Tuning SUCKS! Lipo's Really aren't dangerous if you follow instructions and if you can't follow instructions then this is not the hobby for you lol. Sorry to be blunt but it is what it is.

That's what i would do, and you can jump to brushless anytime you want. But i would bring it down to a 7 cell nimh pack, to reduce motor wear.

like, smooth dirt, tall grass, tracks..........


The slash is great for gravel/dirt short grass surfaces, and is the single most durable rig that i have ever beat the poop out of.......

But somthing like the stampede or somthing like that would be better for taller grass, due to the larger diameter tires, and height.

Get the E-Revo if you can afford it. If not, the Rustler VXL would be my choice. It will probably be the next RC I buy, once I get the money. I'll then upgrade it to do the 70 mph. Still, nitro is good, and I prefer it. I've owned 3 nitros now, and they're real fun. The sound just makes you feel like you have more power in your hands. Idk, thats just me.

Neither one of those links work. Yes, depending on the brushless system they would be faster than nitro.
