Does anyone know if I can adapt the traxxas easy start system onto my NTC3 engine?

ivan - i have talked to AE about this on their site.

No - currently, there is no room, nor a sutable adapter for any type of electric start for the NTC3. The starter motor interferes with the tranny.

does the 2.5 have a pull start option, and would that fit? Can it be bumped started? It seems to me that that EZ start is a waste of space and weight. I hated the one that came on my old tmaxx

traxxas has just released a pull start for the 2.5 but it is hard to find. i do not own a 2.5 (thank god) but i am sure that u can use a starter box for it. i personally think that having an NTC3 and a mill with an electric starter is kind of oxymoronic.

I don't want one (2.5) I was just asking the question. Electric start on the NTC3 is like a milk bucket under a bull, makes no sense

there is a pull start for the 2.5 i saw it on ebay

I am kind of new to the Nitro world so this may seem like a dumb question, but what do you mean by bump start? is that using a starter box?

never a dumb question - yes - that is exactly what it is.

thanks nitro, can i use a starter box on the stock pull start motor of my tc3?

yes - u can. I would recommend either the AE starter box, or the Ofna Multibox. I use the Ofna on all my cars, including my NTC3
