my son bought me a tablet for xmas. and the power supply stopped working. so i fond a power supply with the right voltage, but wrong fitting. so i cut and past. got the wires soldered fine and found an ink pen with a rubber sleeve that fit. and some brush-on elec tape. looks good enuf.

the pen had a rubber griper. my kludge solder job needed something to cover it up. it got my tablet going. i needed a 5 volt 2.5 amp supply. RS wanted $30.00 for big ol block. so i found a small one with a diff connector.
