Good work, Whitt!

I grabbed a medkit and my HUD flashed white and my health bar went to a hundred... oh wait...

I grabbed a medkit and took the latex gloves out but the fingers are a sloppy fit over the springs. I'm gonna try the balloons.

This is a great looking job when all done! Just did mine and it was a snap once you find what you need. I went to the hardware store and bought a foot long piece of 3/8 hard copper tubing worked slik but be sure there are no BURS on the tubbing. Great jod Whitt!!

dam you can put them on ebay and sell them for 15.00 bucks and make $$$$$$$$$ :D

Thanks fellas. I got this feeling that if I tried to put them on ebay, folks would go "WTF, I aint paying $15 for some party balloon covered coils." IMO, the bling factor is pretty low on this project, but the useful factor is pretty high. Besides, I'd rather offer you guys something than deal with foos on ebay. Hey, maybe I can wholesale them out to one of the members on here, and they could sell them......:ninja:

no, you might think i was kidding, i bought some shock protecters off of ebay and all they were was some sort of material rolled around and sewed and cut to 6" length. probably took a total of 30sec. to make, and i payed $15.00 for them. i would had rather bought some balloons for .97 a pack.

If I were to sell them, I'm not sure whether I would buy spring sets, and pre make sets, or sell 10-12 balloons and a 8" section of tubing and instructions. If I went with premade, it's cost more because of having to get springs, and time. But it is worth thinking about.

If anyone wants to see how my set is holding up, let me know and I'll post some pix.

Yeah, the orange ones are on the old truck, yello on the new one (matches the yellow bronco body).
