hey i had my engine tore right down to the crankase the other day and i noticed i had what looked like some burnt on fuel on my engine, i decided to try using hand soap to try to clean it off and i put some soap on it and it washed right off. i couldnt believe how easy it worked. now my crankcase looks new again.....:)

oven cleaner works pretty steller

its good to give a "once in a while" cleaning like that.. a motor with caked on oil, dirt, and road grime, will run hotter... i have noticed the soap works nice. but if its really bad and say you have a chrome header that may be discolored, or not all of it is coming off easy.. oven cleaner works great. i just spray it on and rinse it off

I just did a Simple Green bath on mine.....works pretty good for the gunky stuff too. Spray it down let in sit a minute then brush it with something....rinse and I heat gun to dry.
