E-Savage Upgrades?

A buddy of mine has an E-Savage that stripped the stock steering servo. I told him put a Savox in it I put one of mine in it to show him and it killed the battery very very fast. It has the stock ESC.

What new one should I put on ESC and servo wise? $200 is the budget.

ESC wise, i couldnt recomend one, cause i run nitro but this servo is an amazing servo for an amazing price

I would keep the savox and get a castle bec and better battery. What battery is he using?

It's a NiCd and NiMh system. And that servo looks awesome! I might grab that.

Oh and if you are set on a new servo I have had great service from the Jr 8711.

I would check the capacity when charging to see if the batteries are still holding a full charge.
