Charges 1-26 cells. Charges, discharges, trickles.
Will do NiCads and NiMH batteries. Programmable for the 9 most popular batteries you use, and setting #10 is automatic, as I recall, so you only have to program in: (example) NiMH 3300 mAh, # of cells and the charge rate you want, and in the future, you select that setting and just hit start.
Input is 12V DC, and the clips have been replaced with a cigarette lighter adapter.
It wasn't used very much, and hasn't been used in several years, but it's in the box with manual and several adapters and 'like new condition'.

Less than 1/2 price at $60 shipped.

No it doesn't, and that's why I got the Super Brain AC/DC since I'm now on the 6th floor and no longer one step out to the carport.

haha yeah i hear ya on that. sorry for posting and i dont want to buy anything but i was just wondering about that

mattyfats, a lot of the high end chargers and field chargers, are DC only. I keep finding REALLY nice chargers that have all the features I was EXCEPT for AC, this being one of them.

Thanks for that info, Charlie. When I bought this one, I went to get a Nova and the guy in the hobby shop saw that this one was about to be released. At the time, Nova (I'm pretty sure that's what it was) was the best one out there.
He recommended this Dymond Super Turbo highly, being a real battery and electric guy, and told me to hang on for 2 more weeks till they got them in. He ordered one for me, and one for himself.
By the way, on occasion I would plug it into the 12V Jumper cable booster I had in the trunk, since it had a lighter socket in it. That way I could use it inside and line up the batts that needed charging or cycling.

it would be GREAT for those batteries. I came VERY close to buying it for a very similar battery because it's just right to do stuff like that. You will have a very precise control over charging your batteries with this charger and will get the most out of your batteries that way. If I didn't need one for LiPos, This thing would be charging my batteries as we speak.

Just give me a holler. If it's still here, it's yours.
One more feature. For NiCads you program a file for a specific battery to discharge/charge, then just hit the file # and start, and it will discharge it at the rate you set it for, then go into a hold cycle till it cools, and then start the recharge automatically.

grgbulldog, I've been doing some research and I think you snuck up on the deal of a lifetime. I didn't realize just how nice this thing was until talking with people that have one. you called dibs and I'm not gonna buy it out from under you. But in a week if you decided not to buy it I'm gonna have to get it, I just can't pass up a deal this good. I know I'll never find another charger this nice for this price. Oh well, I snoozed and I loozed.
