dx3s telemetry display???

I finally got the chance to finish breaking in the new revo today,and i noticed that it would not register either the mph or the rpm's. the signal strength of the telemetry is good but it doesn't show anything but the temp. it just says 0 mph or 0 rpm's, any thoughts or suggestions? by the way the little sticker that goes on the flywheel is on there, should i use a black marker to mark it instead of the sticker?

Tim, I taped off my flywheel and put some flat black paint on it, and it works great. But the reason your probably not reading is maybe a couple of things. first you may have the wire plugged in backwards (I've done that), your sensor may not be close enough to the flywheel, or you may not have the RPM max set high enough on your transmitter. It could be any of those 3 things or even all 3. If you need to call me again you can and i'll walk you through it, its no problem at all

thanks rob, i will try all of those suggestions. the only thing is it all worked the day before. i will let you know how i make out.
