Hey I just got my DX3R and I'm keen to keep it in good shape so I've ordered a custom fit screen protector for it from www.ZAGG.com (invisible shield). Not sure if anybody has used these for their phones ipods etc, but they are THE BEST screen protectors ever made. Not quite sure on the cost yet but I've payed for the design fee already, I'm wondering if anyone else is interested as the more I can do in the initial order the cheaper they'll be.

yeap thoes work great..you can get them at wallmart target..they come in clear or anti-glare..i have the Crystal clear on my iphone and looks very nice protects from scratches very well..i also have the anti-glare but i dont really like it ..can't see the screen that well looks like its kind of fog out but still can see your display..i would recommand the clear one..use a ruler/razor to make the cut..works the best way instead of sizzors..

Ha I thought you might pop up charlie, I ordered two for starters, it should be here in a few days. I'll shoot some pics and if you like it you can buy the spare.

Yeah this company in particular is awesome, I've got them on everyhting I own that's electrical, I will keep you posted here and maybe we can get a slightly larger batch going.

Zagg is a good company and those Shields rock!! I have them on just about every portable electronics device I have. Now I just need to get a better radio for my Revo.............. blasted rtr!!

OK here it is guys, not the best pictures but I was in a rush the other day. Let me know if any of you want one.

In the package, the instructions, application spray, and squeegee

Sprayed on the application spray, layed the protector on, because of the spray being on the screen you can slide the protector around until its perfect and then get all the bubbles out

Installed and all of the bubbles / spray smoothed out

I took this pic at a super shallow angle kind of as a worst case scenario for clarity but all I could get wrong with it is the glare.

They should clear up some overnight too. I noticed with most of mine that they look kinda funky even after getting all the bubbles out, but usually by the next day they smooth out very nicely.
