Spektrums new budget 3ch radio.

These are a nice budget radio from Spektrum, although I'd like to see some sort of a menu system with digital trims and at least a big enough memory to store a few models. BUT, I guess their answer for that would be the DX3S or R, you gotta pay for those extra features!
I predict this will be the new RTR radio of choice for many higher end vehicles coming out. Either way, the reliability of Spektrum 2.4ghz is worth the $100 alone, I HATE interference!

Exactly, you gotta pay for the extra features. $99 is a great deal for 2.4ghz for sure! Plus if your just a one rig person then this is just perfect.

1 model memory????

Yikes.

Not bad

That looks like a good deal. I like to have a Tx for every one of my RCs.
So this would be great for me besides its not much more than a Rx alone.

Good find looks like a nice light weight radio I am thinking of geting a axial rock crawler and this radio looks like the perfect match for it.

Thats nice and all, but the lack of model memory is where not many people will buy it, now if it had a 5-10 model memory, id have 2 already...

I bought this radio to be my deticated crawler radio. Although its already snuck into my other vehicles, now I'm going to get a dx3r for my racers, and keep the E for my crawler.

I was thinking about this for my Axial crawler as well. The 3rd channel switch is da bomb for dig or rear steer. I also like to have a full radio system for each machine so no memory is no big deal for me.

I actually use the 3rd channel for my scalers winch, I was going to get the dx3s, but it didn't have a 3position switch, so I got the dx3e and couldn't be happier!
