I just ate up a OWB for my savage X, after about 2+ gallons of fuel.

Like everyone else, I can find the bearings for about $5-$6 each & I'm sure I could rig something up to press the bearing out of the hex.

My problem is my old hex has a crack in it, and the gear around it developed a crack at one of the corners (stress riser), so I'll replace it as well.

Doe anyone know if / where you can buy the hexs from, or what they are technically called ?

A lot of "googling" here tonight & I can't seem to find anything on it ?

Thanks in Advance !

If the outside is cracked I think you may be out of luck. I have never seen a place that sells just the hex portion. The gear....yes you can get off of Tower Hobbies for pretty cheap.

i use tower hobbies you can try e bay to but owb are not cheap my os 30 owb cost 35
