your link says there no matches..lol.. But hes right about the search function on the top right of the toolbar. The dual exhaust has been asked to death in here.. You dont want it..

wow, lol that linkage failed... well, yea there ARE many threads on it, just search "dual exhaust"

(skip to last paragraph if you want a simple explanation)

Plainly put; the rear dual exhaust pipes do nothing more than burn up your motor, since they do not have the proper backpressure characteristics needed to supply the proper reversion wave needed by the engine to sufficiently retain semi-expelled fuel.

Translation: The engine won't be able to keep all of the fuel it drew in from the fuel tank in its' combustion chamber (on that particular induction cycle), due to a lack of a pressure wave returning from the end of the pipe.

That, coupled with the vent line ran to the fuel tank are the most important components of a 2 stroke exhaust system. Without them, your motor will struggle to pull fuel, and will run MUCH leaner than any needle setting can compensate for (causing very rapid wear).

Your best option; skip the copper tubing junk, and get a good quality pipe; the HPI polished pipe is what I run, and it's MORE than enough pipe for the Savage.

My friends shop (rivertown hobbies) has really nice ones for 109.99
Should i look into them or just stay with the single exuast?????
well hope to hear from you

did you read this?

unless you want to destroy your engine very quickly stay with a real tuned pipe made for a nitro rig. not some soldered together chromed copper pipes.

the only thing those dual exhaust setups are good for are show. they look trick but DO NOT WORK!

One word; NO. Get a nice pipe like the HPI Polished pipe; your engine (and your wallet, they go for around $29.95 or less) will thank you for it.

Actually, are you talking about the Tsais dual exhaust? It's sweet looking. I would suspect it would work well. I haven't seen or heard anyone who runs one, but Tsais usually makes good pipes. And it looks nice, too. Bit pricey compared to regular pipes. But hey, it's your money, right?

Now, if it were a setup like Candyman posted; that might be alright. You definately want to stay away from the ebay specials that are nothing more than painted copper plumbing pipe.

Either should work ok. The RD Logics pipe (the blue one in your pic) will work probably just as well as the tsais. And if you're thinking of the ribbed, that will work absolutely fine, too.

Thanks for helping
I will look into both.
