I'm sick of the oil all over the right rear of my 2.5 tmaxx
can anyone recomend a good dual exhaust.
i've heard some make the truck run worse. Is this true?

i think we all hate the grim from the exhaust on our trucks. but dual exhauts dont work good on these trucks. the whole "backpressure" thing is a bunch of crap. it might sound good and look really kool but it will make ur truck run hot and like crap. if anything try the cvec exhuast. i think there is a conversion piece that will work and go out the back of the 2.5

also get an exhuast deflector.

What do you mean the whole back pressure thing is a bunch of crap or is this in reference to the dual exhaust cause if not. The small 2 & 4stroke RC engine do require so much of a back pressure to work right. What a dual exhaust will do is give no back pressure so you are basically running with out an exhaust in away.

I'm not a T-Maxx owner.. but which dual are you talking about??

these are crap!!!! I never got them but I've known people who got them for the Savage and T-Maxx... makes it worst and spend over $50.. what they are, copper fittings.. and copper gets REALLY HOT

but for the CVEC.. i know that you need this part

it's a power trap from Nova Products.. same people who make the heads

holds back pressure in

Your best bet would be to buy an exhaust deflector, and some denatured alcohol. The dual exhausts that you see on ebay are crap, and so is the cvec IMO.

the one "barnburner" dual pipes are what i am talking about.
just go with the exhaust deflector

uumm, not quite sure. just go into ur lhs and say u need an exhaust deflector. i have a green one and it is made by GS racing.

dont buy a duel exaust. when you change the header its not good for the air flow to change directions. if you want advice buy a new exaust and angle it down.
