If you're looking for a very easy and cheap way to backup your computer files I'd suggest checking out DropBox.

I've been using them for the last 5 months and this thing is great. Sign up for a free account (2GB free) and then to make it really easy download their client (don't have to, but makes it easier) and then simply copy files you want backed up to Dropbox.

I use it on my home PCs and work PCs so I can access any files that I might have been working from any PC. They also have an iphone and android app so I can access my files from my phone.

I know computer issues are always brought up from time to time around here and thought I'd share one way I backup some files, plus it's free.

Totally different app, but just as sweet -- http://ninite.com/

You pick the programs you want to have installed, download their installer and it does everything else for you.

I know, I really should be working instead of reading IT sites - haha!
