With Christmas coming up I need to get my brother something so I figured on a new mill for his MAXX. He loves his ez start so the engine needs to be compatable. He wanted the Serio .18 but its been discontinued? What are some options here?
 
Man I love the SIrio23 in my Maxx. I am not kidding how insane the power on this motor. I am barely tuning for speed and each time I run it, I find the maxx on its lid since it spools so fast.I am thinking of changing to a larger tooth clutch bell but now its got the stock clutch assembly. I am going to put either aluminum shoes on it or the fioroni turbo sliding clutch. Not too sure if the fioroni will fit as it is normally used on the 1/8 scale but since I got this motor it reall engages very well. Just want to know if the different type shoes will help that.


I use the pullstart as it starts up easy on the first 1 or two pulls. I hate the easy start but you can put that on.Not too sure if the Easy start 1 will fit but the second version will.

I recently got the Picco p2 .21 for my maxx. I love it. Easy install and it is a direct bolt on, so its very convenient. Also tons of power. Every time i run it, i get more and more impressed. You can also find them for a pretty reasonable price also. Hope that helped,

I think that the sirio .18 is still available on stormer hobbies you should check it out if not that one iv been wanting to get the FR.18 (fantom .18) its on stormerhobbies.com also. just click on engines and scroll to the make etc. I'm sure you know how to get there. I'm almost posative about the sirio so check it out.
 
Anybody got a link to the picco p2? That OS .18TM looks pretty sweet.

I recommend the Sirio 23 from experience. Talk to RUSH RC here on the forum. Very easy to work with. Hope ya get it!

I hear ya man, Just thought i would throw that out there, maybe someone will be interested. But The Sirio is awsome i would go with that sirio .23 also!
 
I got my picco brand new on ebay. Every once and a while a good deal on a new one pops up. Ill keep my eye open and let you know if i happen to find a good one. :-)
 
That OS is looking nice.

I'm kind of partial to OS though.
