i took my nitro fusion out today and after a while she went over a grid and it flipped on the side and just all went wrong!!

After a close inspection the fule tank has a massive crack on it and the drive shaft has come right out of the pin axel

my question is how do i get the new driveshaft back in to the axel pin? does the pin need taking out of the plastic bit its in and then re-assemble with the driveshaft intact

thanx alot

If you can't snap it on, maybe taking the entire hub assembly apart might be the answer. It's hard to tell from your pic if the shaft end will in fact snap back on. Drive shafts like that on all of my rides have some sort of set screw that when loosened will allow the pin to be removed. I'm looking online for some sort of assembly diagram for you as well. Good luck.

If your drive shafts are anything like mine, there should be an allen set screw in the ball end of the shaft (the part left inside your hub). Getting to it would require you to take the hub apart.
I went to the Schumacher (sp?) website and here is a pic of the wishbone/hub assembly.

Here is the link to the technical part of their website. You will see you car in the list. Lots of good data here.

I agree with military maxx. Take off the hex adapter and slide the axle assembly off then reassemble. It should be pretty much cake after that.
