Any one want to vouch for steel drive shafts for an extended chassis t maxx? Any brand that out performes? Axle shafts too.

I put a set of RD Logics steel shafts when I had my brushless tmaxx and they held up great to the Mamba Monster! Just stay away from integy!

MIP is what I run on my Tmaxx and my Smaxx. He is right no go on the Intejunk ones.

I've been through a few different brands on my extended (4908) maxx. I finally settled on a 77mm (shiny) hpi dogbone with traxxas extended cups for the rear center shaft. The rest are stock. The cups are for use on a revo with the extended wheelbase rear a-arms. This setup is as tough as anything, and only about 15-20 bucks.

+1 on 2revo1maxx's solution, I followed his advice and haven't had a problem since. I run my slipper on the tight side for improved off line performance and it was twisting the stock rear center u joint after about 3-4 hours runtime. Now its all good! :p:
