WHAT DO YOU GUYS do to get more performance..out of a pipe? drill out the outlet of the factory pipe? or buy a new upgrade? either way...which one do you recommend? both resonator pipes at my lhs. have the same part number and different outlet sizes.? so i was thinkin about just drillin mine out. thanks ...brandon.
oh i have the 4908 model.

yes, for some reason the 4908 version came with a resonator just like the 4909.. both have same part number but the new one has a smaller stinger hole.. so here is the vid on what size to use to drill it out for optimum performance!!

The new pipe (4908) has a smaller hole so the longer truck will do wheelies(smaller hole=more torque). I would drill it so it's a tiny bit bigger, but still smaller than the other resonator. I was not impressed with my resonator either way so I got a THS pipe for my 4908. Made a noticeable difference on my 3.3.

I drilled mine out, and I did notice quite a jump in performance...I'm running a picco .21 though, not a 3.3

Yep I do. Its been a great engine so far. I actually just pulled it and put the old 3.3 in so I could go run in the snow and not have to worry about destroying my picco.

I actually took a video today, but keep these things in mind before you watch it

1. My GF refused to hold the camera, so I had to do that and drive at the same time.
2. I apparently suck at taking videos and piloting a high performance rc car at the same time.

So anyway here it is. Its in HD on the actual youtube site I think
