Actualy lessen i think there is ABS and PVC. ABS is usualy black or grey and PVC is white. I have never seen black PVC though. Why buy those just make your own. I did for my NTC3 and it put me out $0. its cool at first but gets old pretty quickly IMO

It actually DOES get old real fast. I used mine for about 3 or 4 days before I decided it was boring.

All that it those PVC tires do is just take away any traction..so you just slide everywhere...and don't run it in the street, cuz if you see a car, you won't have enough traction to get it away in time. You can actually spin the tires full throttle without the car hardly moving.

yeah, I figured PVC would have no grip. When I first saw those wheel/tire combo I thought they were just low profile slicks (probably a harder compound)... now that would be worth it, but not PVC or ABS. I got no interest anymore in making drift tires.. I'm just gonna try regular slicks on my DrifTMaxx. Personally, I just thought it would be fun to build a Maxx that could do a lil more road stuff but not lose all capabilities off-road. Not that I'm an experienced basher or anything, I got a lot to learn about driving these things.

drifting with a savage is the stupidest thing i ever heard!! ok it would be cool for an hour but thats it!

I agree, the Savage was meant for off-road, not on-raod. It just doesn't sound like a good idea to drift wth a savage. Why not just get a touring car where drifting can actually be useful??

Civics are meant to be cheap, economical, get around cars. We see what happend to these. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to be a smartass or anything. I just think a hobby is a hobby and whatever makes a hobbiest happy is worth their time. Tell you the truth I was kinda dissapointed when I got a Maxx for X-mas cuz I'm a road race fan (1:1), but I quickly realized how versatile these things were but I wanted to build one that could be just a bit more versatile. There's no doubt that an MT will never do the things a road car can but hey, how many mud caked H2s do we see cruisin the highways. just my :2cents: guys. Please don't take me the wrong way.

i think you would do some damage to the engine reving that high....i stripped a hub the other day a rear one and was running front wheel drive i had a blast cause it would burn the hell out of the front,if i floor it it burned the tires the whole street, and and i kinda trimmed the neighbors grass..i had a good time with front wheel drive, and instead of the abs couldnt you just run on a old set of rims with no tires?

Actually, the PVC pipes, i've heard those have about 5 hours of use before they wear. So if you ran with just rims, it'd work for a time, but the rims would wear down

i made my own drifting savage for free. just get some rape and wrap it around the tires and its the same thing!
