I need a dremel. I have 50$ to spend and I'm going to buy 2 3600 sub-c cells to upgrade my existing paacks and going to buy a dewalt motor. But in order to do this I need a dremel, which I do not have. So I'm going to ask you dremel experienced peopl for your help. Also, does anyone know where I can get some individual 3600 sub-c cells? Thanks for your help.

corded gives you finer control and more power but cordless is what i have and since i don't need to do any hardcore dremeling, it works just fine.

Check out cheapbatterypacks.com
They have great cells for the price.

I use the corded drill and it works great.

I bought a cheapo corded black and decker RTX at wal-mart for $25 when my corded dremel died. My dremel dremel still runs, but after about 15 seconds, it goes wide open regardless where the variable selector is. Instead of spending $60 on a new one, I just picked up the cheapy. It's only 3 speed and I wish 1 was a bit slower and that 2 was 1, but it does most of what I want without any hassle.

I got a B&D RTX several years ago. Was variable speed though. $50 or so? Liked it better than the Dremel. Not quite as many rpm's, but a lot more torque.

i got 2 dremels one is for routing and the other and a corded witch works very well lots of attachments

I bought a cheap 20 dollar one at a place like harbor freight! It worked good for about a hour then it started to act all kinds of crazy. Wish I would of got one with a cord to start with.
