I just put.the bp diffs in my x 4.6 and everythings good but it seems like the dogbones where they go into the output cups on the diff are loose which they are. Is it supposed to be like that I don't remember it being so loose are the output cups on the bp diffs biiger?

Don't they use a heavy duty dog bone for for the XL and Flux? If so, that might explain it.

Yes, if you purchased the complete BP diffs then it would come with the heavy duty out drives which require a bigger dogbone than stock. An easy fix to get rid of the extra play would be to add 4 more rubber o-rings to all four axle cups.

I did it and it helped the forward and back play but the little pins at both ends of the dogbome have play I notcied lol guess ill just buy the heavy duty dogbones

The Axle carriers will work for any of them....another option .... you can put the drive cups from your X diffs in the BP diffs and use everything else you have just like normal. Good excuse to service your diffs with silicone diff oil while you have them apart. To pull the BF diffs apart you will need to heat the screws to melt the lock-tite or you will strip out the screws. I put the X drive cups in mine for my latest project since I did not want to scrap my CVDs.
