I'm looking to upgrade to some heavy duty dogbones for my savage25. I was able to find heavy duty dogbones that go to the wheels, but i can't find heavy duty dogbones that go underneath the truck? Is it cool to just use regular dogbones instead?

center DBs will break. Most likely the rear. HPI makes HD center DBs. Hot Bodies makes center CVD shafts. I run CVDs all around and they're much better than dog bones. Check towers hobbies.

What are CVD's? I've seen them at tower but i dont know what they are. And I can't find the center heavy duty dogbones at tower.

A CVD is a constant velocity drive. Essentially it has a dog bone on one end and a universal joint on the other. Essentially is eliminates half of the lash in the drive train.

Here's the out drive units (2 sets required)

Here's the center front (1 required)

And the center rear (1 required)

If you get these, be sure to loctite the grub screw that holds the universal pin.

These hold up very well and are what I run. I've only bent one outdrive, but that was due to some massive air.

Here's the HPI HD front center DB:

And the HPI HD rear center DB:

CAN YOU POST A LINK TO THE 304 TYPE YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT, I'm PRETTY NEW AT THIS. DO THESE THINGS BOLT INTO THE TRANY AND CONNECT FRONT AND BACK GEAR BOX? THEN THE OTHER ONES BOLT IN THE GEAR BOX AND EXTEND TO THE TIRES?
