What kind of dog do you think this is? I know its a mix and i am sure its got to have some boxer in it but what do you guys think?

I don't really see the boxer in it but the tail is kind of chow like, the head is kind terier looking and the colors are kind of lab looking, JMO...

i was thinking boxer because of the overall size and color scheme. my buddy's boxers are light brown with a white chest. hmmm

he is UBER energetic but obedient as well.

I was going to say the head looked pit bull-ish. Although his muzzle is a bit narrower than I'd expect.

Seems king of light in color for a boxer and deffitnetly dosen't have the boxer muzzle, I'm with candyman on the pit bullish thats why I said terrier looking on the head, my wife said lab and pit mix...

I'm seeing a kind of lab and beagle mix

That is what my Dog Zoe is, other than being severly overweight, it looks just like her. When I got her from the SPCA, they were calling her a beagle mix. My vet says he doesn't see it yet she has the howl of a hound. I don't see any pit or boxer myself, just watch her behavior, that will be the biggest clue as to what your dog is.

She's taken on the look of the basic street mix of mongrel. Nothing stands out any more, and she just has the generic look.
She'll be a good, friendly dog since most of the pedigree 'quirks' are long gone, but most of the instinctual smarts remain.
Mutts are the worlds best companion dogs. She'll thank you daily for letting her join the family.

lab/beagle is the general consensus on the dog forum as well. (yes i am a member of a dog forum :) )

he is just an all around mix but after my first day with him, i am very impressed with his companionship and behavior overall. I'll post more pics later.

Sweet, I would love to be a member on the dog forum. I could discuss carbon fiber and aluminum upgrades for Bogie, and maybe lower to nitro percentage in his dog food so he will get longer runtime. With about an ounce of 30% in his food twice daily, he's running out of air in about 10 minutes :hehe:

I'm not sure about what breeds he is, but he sure is a pretty dog. Energetic is good as long as they're obedient as well. Sounds like you have a great companion now. Last summer we got a 1/2 black lab, 1/2 golden retriever, she was an 'accident' that happened at a breeders, the mom and dad were not supposed to 'get together'. She's all black like the lab but shorter like a retriever. She is the best dog I've ever had and I'm not sure what I'd do without her. We took her to obedience school and she did really well and continues to behave very well.

LMFAO!! That's funny stuff, Charlie. Thanks for picking up the slack when I'm not around.
