Does anyone roll their own?

Fishing rods that is, I already know how to roll some other things .

Been going down this rabbit hole for some time now, then life keeps getting in the way. Fixing to jump on in as soon as I can make up my mind on what equipment to get. I was set on building my own set up, but I don’t have the time right now (and it’s way too hot to be out in wood shop right now )

Any ways, was just curious if anyone else here was into it?

I roll my own...with a nice spiral paper tip In the back....and if we talking about fishing rods I have wound guides on. I would not call myself an expert by any means. I have done 1 complete rod, and several replacement guides. Maybe a dozen guides in total.

Turns out you don't actually need the rod to catch a fish! Who knew?!?
