The members are at work in such, they will post no worries friend. In my opinion (IMO) the pipe looks like an older pipe, not vintage but it looks over 6-7 years by the color of the metal oxidation. Also looks like a factory pipe, not saying anything is just looks to be so.

ok so I decided to get a new one. is this a good pipe ?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-THS-Racing-1-10-Tuned-Pipe-T-Maxx-2-5-THS1045-NIB-/390367795332?pt=Radio_Control_Parts_Accessories&hash=item5ae3bbd884#ht_735wt_1110

and will this increase the low end speed?

also i want to get the 40 series roadrage with Axial 8-Spoke. what changes should i do to my tmaxx so it can handle those tires? I've read many threads about this and everyone's advice is to change the gearing. is the "18t clutch bell and 72t spur gear " good enough? also some say that the axle carriers need to be replaced by rpm ones.. anything else to consider? like trany or drive shaft.. sorry for the too many question but it's a little bit confusing and i'm ordering everything online so i need to be sure..
thanks

Should work fine.

hmm so no need for new one...how do you usually know if it is a good pipe or not? I think it is old as HPI-killer said, so i thought it is not as good as these new tuned pipes.

The one you linked is a great deal for a great pipe.

You could try the one you have, it shouldn't hurt anything. Knowing what it is would be nice though.
The wheels and tires you talk about are taller than stock, so yes you should lower the gear ratio to a 19 or 18 t clutch bell.

yea should work fine in using a pipe off a hb.46 on my 2.5r works grate its that big to

Definately an aftermarket pipe.. Only one of my 4 t-maxx's have the stock pipe.. Yours should do great!
