I have a Rush Evo and after running it for a couple of weeks the back tyres became soft so i took off the tyres to see what the problem was - and all that was there was powdered foam and the remains of the foam inserts! Does anyone know why this could happen?? :ponder:

Thanks

What type of terrain have you been running on? Though I don't have an answer for you, I wonder if certain terrains would have any "cause and effect" on this matter, were the tires securly glued to the rims? Any slippage between the tire and rim might cause a grinding like action to cause the foam to break down like you mentioned.

its been a mix of on and off road, yeh the tyres were secure and it was a job getting them off! maybe it could have been the snow?

if the inserts froze they might have been to brittle, once a couple pieces came loose could have self destructed. seems they'd be colder than the tires because of the little friction tires have on the snow. Just a thought
