Dish network HD DVR?

The price for a HD DVR lease just dropped from 399 to 199. The new box is MP4 rather then MP2 like the one I have. Duel tuner (PIP Or 2nd TV) The result is that I can get more HD programing and have the DVR features for HD.

Does any one out there have the DISH HD DVR?
If so, How is the performance?
There is rumor of another newer one to hit in the fall, should I hang till then based on your experience with the current HD DVR?

I called on it, and was going to get it set up, but they wanted me to sign a two year contract. I'm not up for that..lol..

Not to steal a thread but I have dish network as well, anyones elses freeze sometimes when flipping channels?
