Well I got my tmaxx last Monday and just now got to take it out to break it in Temps are in the 50s today and to find out my high speed needle is leaking like crazy so I took the truck in side to look at it and where it threads in to the carb is stripped out. So I will be calling traxxas Monday hopefully they will make it right. Any body else have this problem???

that's the problem with a mass produced item ,things tend to slide past without getting noticed. traxxas has excellent customer service and I'm sure they will help you out.

That's good to know. Yea they are closed on weekends so I'm going to call after work tomorrow. Sounds like they will help me out.

Got my carb today. I did the heat cycle break in. Temps were around 210 220 during the break in. I did notice that I can move the flywheel easier than before it was broke in is that normal. It's been about 6 years since I been in the nitro hobby and I can't remember if that normal.

Yes that's normal. Just make sure your setting you piston at bottom dead center while your engine is cooling down. Other words roll the flywheel until your piston is at the bottom.

I did during the break in every time I let it completely cool down. Runs great

Awesome!! I still set mine to BDC even after gallons run through them. Just good practice I guess. I'm not sure you get that much more life out of the engine but I like to think it helps anyway. I'm glad you got it all straightened out.

I did it in a indoor motocross track it is heates to 70 so it didn't take long to get to temp. I used the heat cycle. I ran it for 2 to 5 mins then would shunt it down and let it completely cool down at BDC. Did that for 20 to 30 mins. What I read on here.
