does anyone here run ???

and does anyone know what it would take to convert a 4-tec into a dirt oval machine ??

thanks

I'll be running dirt oval within the next week or two. I heavily modified a Kyosho Ultima ST-R (nitro) to do it. Made it shorter and narrower to give it a better scale look.
I'd be a bit worried about converting a 4tec, dirt and belt drives don't mix to well. If you can seal the belts in an enclosure, and widen the stance, say with HPI super rs4 suspension parts, then you should be good to go. Finding the right tires seems to be the hardest thing (for me anyway). Try out dirtoval.com, you can get some good ideas and advice from those guy's.

thanks for the links and help ...

ya it seems to be the issue .. finding tires ... i seen someone convert a ntc3 over .. i know that is shaft .... just doing some research for it before i make the final decision .. place i race is putting in an oval this weekend ... figured since the 4-tec just collects dust ... make it run dirt oval ...
