Sup guys,

I ripped aprt my steering servo earlier tonight when I wrecked my maxx and while I could rebuild it with relative ease I've been wanting to get a more responsive steering servo.

Is their any specific brand of digital or other steering servo that yooz guys reco for my maxx???

TIA and I appreciate it.

Peace

Most guys (maybe girls??) here go with the Hitec 645mg, or the 5645mg(<---digital) servo. They have incredible power for the $$ you spend. The 645 you can get for under $40.

Thanks GlBE....so the 645 isn't digital? How much does hte 5645 run on average???

GIRLS eh...lol.

Thanks and Peace

THe Hi-tec 645mg ultra torque from servo city it is......Thanks allot guys.

-EDIT- I'm having a brain fart....what kind of plug do I need for the stock T-maxx reciever...I'm assuming it's the Hi-Tec S plug? Futaba J, Airtronics Z or JR???

Thanks

Peace

The stock T-Maxx receiver takes Futaba style plugs. The Hi-Tec servo that handles the Futaba J should be sufficient.

Note that the HiTec HS645-MG ultra torque servo is non-digital and while a quality servo is something less than its digital big brother the HS5645-MG. You will get good results with the 645, but I would recommend going with the 5645 instead. It is worth the extra money.

???? Can you mix a digital servo with non-dig? Like a dig steer and non-dig throttle?

I do without problems. I have a digital steering servo and a stock throttle servo in my T-Maxx. Works just fine.

As long as you arent running the HRS system with the Futaba 3PK. Then, you can only run digital ;)

Not sure if there are any other 'digital only' systems out there but this one I'm certain of.

Thanks for the help gents.....I appreciate it. My lhs is gonna hook me up with a sweet digi servo for $40.

BTW.........I've seen the digital servo "controllers/computers" like the one Tower sells by HiTec for $159.00 and was wondering. Are they worth the money if I decided to put digital servos in my other trucks and cars l8ter on or is this more of a novetly then anything??? I'm assuming it allows you to perfect tune frequency and setting of the digi-servo.

Peace
