As most of you know, I'm working on a Revo race project. I bought a brand new Revo 2.5R, I bought a Tekno RC brushless conversion kit for it. I have one of the brand new Novak HV Pro 4.5 brushless systems on the way now, and I will be powering it with two 6000HV 2S LiPo batteries. I've also got a Vantage Racing extended carbon fiber body on the way, along with several other odds and ends. This is going to be a long term project, and it will be my first real race build, and my most intense build yet.

I need to buy a few servos. I haven't run digital servos yet, and I would like to start out with the Revo project. I will need one steering servo, and one throttle/brake servo. I know it's electric, but I will be using the Revo clutch on an electric motor, so I will need to use the stock Revo braking system.

Could you guys please reccomend some adequate (sp.) servos for steering and braking. I'm not trying to brake the bank, so if I could get them both for around $150 or so that would be good. Since I've never had a Revo, and I pulled the brand new OS18TM engine out of this one the day it got here, I'm trusting you guys to tell me how much servo I will need.
 
I LOVE my Futaba stuff, and I think you know me well enough to know that if I have to save my money for another week to buy the better part, I will. Personally, I don't believe in doing something half ass just to save a lil money. Usually, when people do that, they end up spending more to get it right anyway. I believe in waiting until I can do it right or not doing it at all. I'm definitely going to check those out. I wonder how much torque I need to properly operate the brake system on a revo, front and rear brakes.

Hitec 5625 is plenty for brake duties.

I have the 625 non-digital version with only 94 oz. of torque and it stops my Revo easily.
The JR9100T or a Hitec 5955TG for steering. Both are strong and dependable for 115 bucks each. Anything less will let you down under race conditions.
