can i fill my differentials with oil, or do i need to just grease the gears and call it a day?

Silicon diff oil. Depends on the RC and what you are doing with it as to what weight.

savage x 4.6, stock gearing,just pretty much a basher, no racing tracks within300 miles. is it even worth effort? i figgured 30wt/front 50wt/back. how much in them full? errrrr rather...fill them full?

Put 30,000 wt in them both for bashing.

I use Silkolene red racing grease in my diffs works like a charm.
