Differential?

Why do i only have front wheel drive tranny is fine all set screws in there need response ASAP!!! no i dont have 4 gear spyder mod i know i should do it but why do i only have FWD and not AWD?... all gears are ok no bearings have been blown should i put new diff grease into it?

missing a drive shaft that goes to the diff? or maybe u stripped one of your diffs.

I had same problem, turned out to be the plastic diff housing. I striped out the cross shaft slots inside the plastic housing.

just happened to me too, my rear diff was trashed....only had front wheel drive.

You stripped gears in your diff. Time for the spider mod.

ok funny thing is no gears were stripped i changed the BIG gear and changed the diff cup put lots of Diff grease in the Diff so it feels good now gonna try it out and i was NOT missing the shaft from the tranny to the diff

Your diff cup didn't look like this did it?diff cup Note the tore up slots.

Yep, mine look exactly like that. I'm going with Golden Horizon aluminum diff cups with the 4 spider mod when I get around to repairing it.
