I noticed it is possible to buy aluminum bulkheads but on the X SS the gearbox is 2 pieces and the bulkhead does not come off, id there any other gearbox that will work on the SS that will allow me to use the aluminum bulkheads? Maybe somehting like this http://www.rcplace.nl/Savage-Parts/Diffs-Bulkheads/FLM40000-Hybrid-Bulkhead-each-Savage/ I also want an Aluminum transmission case but can't seem to find one. I know they are made for the e-maxx

OMG I found one made by GPM. I think I'm going to get the aluminum tranny case, and the 2 aluminum gearbox/bulkheads made by Fast Lane any comments?
http://www.gpmracing.us/index.cgi?c=129 go here to look at the GMP stuff. I found the tranny case for $100 cheaper.

i say get the 3 piece tranny case so you can easily adjust your shift points. I run the X SS diff assembly's and have no problems whatsoever. I'm not gentle on the truck either
