What is the difference in 40 series tires vs reg 3.8 tires? On Proline's site I see the same tire listed as both. Measurements seem the same.

The 3.8" is the size of the rim of the 40 series tires inside diameter/outside rim diameter

30 series tires are 2.8" rims/2.8" inside diameter tires

They mark them as a series so you know what will fit so you can make up your own combo based on style/personal preference

But I can't figure out why my trencher X tires look wider than other trenchers I've seen

Nope 40 series tires and wheels are 3.8" in diamiter...

40 series refers to the older tires and wheels that use the old style double bead. Where the 3.8 uses the Traxxas style or 1/8 buggy bead, that's the only difference. Traxxas/8th scale buggy bead is more simplified and easier to glue. The only 40 series (old bead style) stuff Pro-Line still has are the Tech 5 40 series wheels and Trenchers 40 series tires.

Trencher X 3.8's are substantially wider then Trencher 40 series...

Hope that makes sense OP lol.

Oh...ok that makes sense 3.8" rims are easier to glue than 40 series rims but both can accommodate 40 series rubber.

Back to trenchers, which ones work better MTs or truggys?

Can someone tell me how to adjust my revo3.3 2spd tran.wont shifthow many turns clockwise to counter clockwise.

Asking your question in the appropriate section will get a proper response. Instead of asking in completely irrelevant threads.

counter clockwise shift sooner. You will have to adjust then try it. Also engine tuning can effect your shifts. Just do nut loosen it to much.
