is there a difference in these 2 mounts will a .15mount work with a 2.5 cause i found a nice one thats new on ebay made of billet alum and is only 5 bux with 1 day and some odd hours left

i also saw mounts with finso them will that even make a 5 degree temp difference using a mount with heat fins on it cause those aregoin for only 15

Hey Dom -

The best Engine mount that I've seen for the 2.5, Sirio .18 and other engines that have that mounting desgn, is the Dace MGF engine mount. I've seen WILD claims about increased cooling from other compaines that are definitely bullchit The Dace or similar "fined" engine mount should cool your engine some, but it may not be noticable. THeir's usually various grades of Alluminum engine mounts and I'm not sure of specific cooling propeties and general heat disipation but it's pretty moot IMO. Strength is the most important property for this application.

EDIT, DOM...FYI - As you may or may not know, the 2.5 is a .15 displacment engine. The other engines that use that mount are just desgined to be total "drop-in's" for the 2.5 T-maxx.

Peace
