That whole thing will not fit, but you could pull the diff itself out of it and put it in a older SS. Yes it really does have aluminum diff cups.

If all you want is alloy diff cups you can just buy them separately. There are lot of companies that sell just the cups and it will be much cheaper than buying 2 of the complete housings. Maximizer, Fast Lane Machine, Nova, GPM, and Golden Horizon all sell alloy diff cups.

The only thing you would have to change to use that whole housing is the bumper supports and shock towers.
