not really, you guys got this covered. i use 5,7,1 and wanna try 5,7,(2 or 3) next time i go out.

I do have one more question on it. What is the stock grease the equivelent of having in the diffs.

Hey Guys just wanted to let you know I was able to actually able to disassemble my buggy get the diffes out, clean out the nasty grease and changed it all to silicone. 5k,7k,3k . I chose this setup based on what I have read in this thread and I can't wait to try it out. I know changing out diffs is no big deal but to me being a newbie and this being my first big project I was very pleased with myself. Everything went back on as I took it off and I had no parts left over! The only thing is I didn't notice any difference in the way the car rolled at all. Should it be stiffer? Also I had a little oozing of the silicone out of the screw holes in the diff and just a bit around the seal on the center diff which I wiped away and all was fine, is this ok or did I fill too much? I filled them 3/4 full. Thanks guys.

Tom

are there any differences between what brand of diff oil you can buy? as far as is any better than the other.

only fill to the top of where the gearshafts cross inside the diff.

the differences are minimal, but if stick to one brand. that way when you change oils its apples to apples.
