hey guys, i just got my new diffs in. they are powerline cases with full rrp gears. i am new to this whole diff lube stuff. the guy i got them from said that i should run something like 50,000 weight?(not sure if that is right or not) but i was wondering what do u guys run in urs?

I got the UE 7.5 diffs. I'm runnin' 10k front and 7k rear. I understand this to be a 'middle-of-the-road' setup.

Was the misspelling of the word "idol" in your avatar intentional?

There could be a syndicated television show on tuning nitro trucks. I would be called American Idle.
 
alright, cause the guy that i bought the diffs from said i should run liek 50k.

and yes i just noticed that i spelled it wrong. will fix it right now!!

There's lube for the ring and pinion, which is usually grease and should create little or no resistance.

The diff oil inside the diff carrier should provide the resistance for the limited slip that you want in a differential.

If you want to make a rock-climber out of your truck you can put silly putty inside the diff carriers.
