I just Decided to Tear apart the tmaxx just cus I'm bored.

I take apart the rear and find it has a spool instead of diff and is pretty Dry..

What lube would ya say to use for a spool pack it with white lith? or auto Grease thx Rob
 
i use wheel bearing grease. thats after the retard at my lhs told me to use silcone diff lube and it leaked out throuugh the case and bearings:(

Ah instead of the village itdiot we all seem to have our own LHS RETARD...X
 
I would suggest the white lith. grease. Holds up well and can actually protect against outside moisture if a real liberal amount is used. I pack the whole diff case until it is oozing out when I put it back together. Some think I'm nuts for doing it but I insist it helps protect it from the elements.
