hi there, got a little prob? i looking for some diff grease to do a 4 spider mod, but not to sure what weight to use for front and rear. i've seen a few set ups but not to sure still. i use my savage for off road and on road ( just bashing around) please help guys??

thank you

Wow! Thats alot of weight. I am running Ofna silicone diff oil 3000wt front and 1000wt rear, with the four spider mod, and I love the way my truck handles.

NCNitro, it is only a little thicker than what you are running. They call it 30K but it is really 3000wt. I bumped up to the 6000wt b/c I needed a little more aggressive bite from both tires. For me, it works pretty good.

A friend of mine, runs 3000wt in the fron & rear and that setup works great for him. The main thing to determine what weight to use is by looking at your driving style and terrain. Unfortunately, the best way to find out what works, is through trial & error. Or watching someone else's truck perform.

Later.....

I use 50 in the front and 10 in the rear, is the only combination I've tested, but it's better than the stock one, the stock diffs where just EMPTY.
