I am running a hyper 7 PCR and it does not seem to turn very well on the track. I have a Hitec 5645 steering servo and I am getting full throw in both directions. I am going to tear it down and replace the diff fluids. I was running 7K, 100K, and 5K from front to rear. Gonna switch to 3K, 5K, and 1K front to rear. Do you think that will help solve the problem?

Thanks,

Glenn

There are a lot of other things that will help/hinder with steering. Toe in/out, shock position, shock fluid, and many other things that I can't think of.

I don't think changing fluids like that will help too much, but I could be wrong.

3K in the front will certainly reduce push on loose surfaces. You probably don't need more than 10K in the centre unless you are on a really high grip surface.

3-7-1 or 3-10-1 would be a good place to start.

Also try taking some preload off the front springs and removing the front sway-bar (if you have one fitted).

First of all, try using less throttle whilst turning in.

yeah.. going to 3k in the front will greatly help off power steering.. also.. depends on your toe out of your front wheels.. if your wheels are toed out.. that will hinder your steering out of the turns..
