Ed, you lost me on this one, but I am interested in hearing about what you are looking for.

First, are you specifying certain brands? It appears that way, but I am not familiar with those names.

Second, why do you ask? What function are these needed for? Is this merely an upgrade for strength?

Haven't used them Eddy, but I have heard 3 Racing stuff is hit or miss. I'll ask around at the track saturday if I make it back in time to race. I think I saw a few posts on the Traxxas board about people using the aluminum cups and said they are supposed to help with strengthening the dif up some but they were's specific on brand.

OK, I get it. I have 3 Racing in my Favorites. It appears to be a British company. Did not know it was distributed over here. Looks like decent stuff. Reminds of Integy stuff.

I have RDLogics's diff cups ($20 bucks for a pair shipped) installed. I add shims and it is holding up pretty good. I also have replaced those grease with diff oil. The gasket is POS so I use some RTV to seal it up. The way I shim it is exactly what you found on buggy's diff.

Sorry to say, I am not 3 Racing fan. Not because of the name, but I have seen their product and the finishing on their stuff is rough.

FLM's is very nice and so is Maximizer's. Take a look at this .

I saw then when I was doing my duty and clicking on those funny links at the top of the page. I'm going to get the RPM hubs and bearings and thought I would upgrade my diffs as well. I haven't had any issues with them as of yet but thought I would do it anyway.

I have never used 3racing or the FLM products before and thought I would ask.

I used the 3racing diff cup before. I wear out really quick and I switch back to the traxxas one. The traxxas one is not as strong but last longer.

FLM makes quality stuff...I have a set of the bulkless setup on my 1/10 T-maxx.......very nice finishing on the parts........
