Did I make a HUGE mistake?

I just ordered a TC4 from towerhobbies and I was looking through car action and saw the new T2R. I didn't realize it's the same price as teh TC4 team kit I ordered (about). I got the TC4 to race and to bash in the parking lot, but now I hear people talk about how the TC4 isn't nearly up to snuff with the higher end cars (the ft version). Did I make a mistake not getting the X-ray? Or will I be pleased with my TC4? Please help by monday so I can cancell if I need too. Thanks.:help:

It’s all about brand loyalty. You didn’t go wrong with the FT TC4, not by a long shot. The bad things you hear are subjective. Yes the X-Ray is a great car as well. If you can get parts locally for one over the other, that’s the one you should choose.

My guess is (Not to be condescending by any means) that at this point either car is going to be better then the driver and do just fine.

Well, I canceled my order just to think about it so I don't need rush rush help, but I can't afford the FT or the T2. I'm talking about the Team kit, and teh T2R (raycer with fiber-glass chassis and such).

With the TC4, I was worried about the torque steer of shaft drive, and the amount of chassis flex.

With the T2, I was worried about the amount of maitnence, and the ability to run in the parking lot.

Thanks for the quick responce too.

Also, I don't really care about getting parts locally, because most of the parts gathering will be online.

***EDIT: I think I'm leaning towards the T2R since it has the mulitflex Technology so I won't have to drop some bucks on a flex ajustable chassis like on the TC4, but I question it's bash worthyness. It almost feels wrong putting an X-ray in a parking lot.

Also, I understand your statement. The amount of ajustability on modern touring cars pretty much exceeds the needs of everyone short of Professionals. But, the Multi-flex technology is just so awesome. One chassis for all surfaces without having to buy it seperate. You can't beat that.
